A robber who targeted an elderly man in broad daylight has been jailed. John Ward, aged 41, struck in Bracebridge Drive, Bilborough, shortly after his 78-year-old victim withdrew a large sum of money from a cash machine.

Police have released an image of a man they wish to trace after a teenager was knocked unconscious on New Year’s Day. The incident happened at approximately 3am in Pelham Street, Nottingham city centre.
