Suspect charged after vehicle thefts and break-ins

Detectives investigating a series of house burglaries and vehicle thefts have charged a suspect.

During one incident on 7 January, three cars were stolen from the driveway of a property in Firs Road, Edwalton.

Other break-ins occurred:

  • On 6 January in Bournmoor Avenue, Clifton
  • On 13 January in Dungannon Road, Clifton, where a car was stolen
  • and on 12 January in Humber Road South, Beeston, where a van was stolen from outside.

Allan Sulley, aged 18, has been charged with four counts of burglary.

Sulley, of Sandy Lane, Mansfield, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and was remanded into custody.

He will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 16 February.

Detective Sergeant Lauren Morgan said: “These kind of offences are hugely upsetting for victims and are always investigated thoroughly by officers.

“We have been working hard to investigate a series of burglaries and I am pleased we have now been able to charge a suspect.”
