Suspected burglar caught on golf course with 22 laptops from school break-in
A 41-year-old man was detained at a golf course in Hucknall Road with a rucksack containing 13 Apple iPads. Another nine laptops were found hidden in some bushes.

Police located and arrested a suspected burglar in a garden following reports a home had been broken into. Officers were called to Flewitt Gardens, St Ann’s, at around 4.15am on Tuesday (23 May) after a member of the public heard a window being smashed at a nearby house and spotted an intruder in her back garden.

A collection of dangerous weapons and an air rifle were taken off the streets as officers cracked down on criminals. Police closed down two cannabis factories and arrested two people after executing early morning warrants. Officers broke through the front door of a property in Lemont Road in Forest Town, Mansfield, on Monday 22 May. Two rooms were being used in the property to grow cannabis and the electricity had been bypassed.
Suspected drug dealers arrested following car stop
Response officers arrested two suspected drug dealers after pulling a car over. Police were patrolling the St Ann’s area at around 2.15am on Sunday (21 May) when they spotted a car being driven erratically. After following the vehicle for a short period, officers stopped the car in Richmond Avenue, St Ann’s.
Police arrest two people after bin bag full of mamba discovered at house in Clifton
Police arrested two people when they found a bin bag full of suspected mamba after executing a warrant at an address in Clifton. Officers attended an address in Porter Close at around 2.45pm on Wednesday 17 May. A search of the property took place and a white bin bag containing a large quantity of vegetable matter suspected to be mamba was recovered in the lounge.

Heading to Devonshire Road, Harworth, just before 12.20am, on Wednesday (17 May), response officers searched the area after being alerted by South Yorkshire Police that two men had been spotted acting suspiciously looking into cars and houses.

Two suspects were snared after specialist road crime team officers spotted a car believed to be linked to recent burglaries. Officers stopped the car in Slaughter House Lane, Newark, shortly after 8pm on Tuesday (9 May 2023). Two occupants were arrested and cloned number plates were found when the vehicle was searched.

Officers came across a potential cannabis operation when they stopped a motorist driving erratically in the early hours of the morning. Two officers were on patrol just before 4am on Friday 12 May when they noticed a suspicious vehicle near Crocus Street.

A suspect remains in custody after a man was stabbed. Police were called to a house in Longford Crescent, Bulwell, at 5.25pm last night (10 May 2023) following reports of a stabbing. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody while inquiries continue.

Police on patrol managed to seize multiple wraps of suspected crack cocaine after pursuing and arresting a suspect. Officers from the Bassetlaw neighbourhood policing team were driving through the Worksop area when they saw someone acting suspiciously.
