Car cruisers have been warned they could be prosecuted if they attend gatherings at a retail park after the installation of a new CCTV camera. The high-tech camera, capable to 360-degree viewing, has been put up at the entrance to the site, near the new Sainsburys, off Colwick Loop Road, following funding from the Safer Streets project.
Police are seeking the public’s help after a dog was attacked by another dog. Officers are investigating the circumstances and want to trace the owner of the offending dog, believed to be a Weimaraner, which wasn’t on a lead and bit the other dog, a Hungarian Vizsla, on her side leaving her needing three stitches.
A targeted police operation has led to the arrest of two shoplifting suspects. Attempts were made to arrest a man and a woman on Thursday morning (2 March) after they were linked to six separate shop thefts.
Cops swooped in and arrested a teenager accused of dealing cannabis. The 16-year-old suspect was stopped and detained by police – 24 hours after a drugs haul was discovered in a house.
